What a fun story! So perfect for the prompt and Halloween coming! I wonder if parents really fall for the “sleeping at a friend’s” anymore, since they pulled that on their own parents. It reminds me of hearing some high school girls talk about how to explain the hickey on their necks to their parents, while I was working in the same school room. I laughed and told them that their explanations were the same ones their parents used! Plus, who ever believed a teen “ran into a door knob”? 🙂
