A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.
Haiku
For our purposes we will keep it simple
A haiku consists of 3 lines
The lines do not rhyme
Haiku traditionally consist of 17 syllables
The syllable pattern is 5-7-5
Tanka
5-7-5-7-7

I find “The lines do not rhyme.” too restrictive. I prefer, “The lines are not required to rhyme.” What if a line happens to rhyme with another? What could possibly go wrong?
