Thanks. It was one of those funny times when the Sunday Whirl and your Wordle needed each other blended to get me writing. I loved your words and a partial image emerged — the Sunday Whirl filled in the gaps.

My husband gave me a dictionary I forget what it is called now but it has older expressions from the 1800s I think, mostly humorous XD
