Greetings everyone, and Merry Holidays!

I know it is Christmas, and I am hoping all of you are with people you love, cozy, warm, healthy, provided for, surrounded with laughter, joy and honest warmth. If not, with all my heart I wish you get there, in the impending year.

I also know a lot of you have been very hard working and that you are still mulling around trying to get decorations set, presents wrapped, opened, and food and cookies done.

This is why, for this week, I would like our writing prompt to be:

Take 10 minutes. Sit, Write. Whatever comes to mind, let it flow free and just write it down. Write down ALL the thoughts words, concepts, worries, everything – that strolls through your mind in the span of 10 minutes.

You can write a poem, a haiku, a series of, flash, anything really. Don’t be afraid to stop, go, write more, write less. I would like to ask you to use this prompt as an initiative: that you will, in the next year, dedicate time to yourself, to everything that makes you happy and concerns you, and take this prompt as a small gesture towards it.

I am looking forward to reading your entries, and please, no worries if the entries are good enough, or smart enough, or inspiring. I just want to see you, whoever you are, for 10 minutes!

When you are done writing your post, please tag it with MindLoveMisery’s Mengaries, creative writing and similar, and don’t forget to link up/pingback!

Happy holidays, to all, once more!

  4. An interesting prompt — my response not the most cheery given the season but what came to mind . . .
