Sunday Writing Prompt “Troll Forest”

Carry

So today I have a treat for you and a ton of photos! Sam and I went to Trollskogen in Gamleby and I want you to use the setting for inspiration. Use one or more of the images or the concept of a forest filled with trolls in a poem, short story, or work of art.

  1. wow – what a gorgeous place — talk about fantastical, mythical and filled with all kinds of sumptuous magick!

these are superb images and just perfect for sparking creativity …. my imagination is blissfully running wild and lazily dreaming –

great prompt Yves – and I’m guessing you had a most extravagant time … lost for hours I bet! 😀

    • Well not as long as I liked because I actually fell down lol There was lots of climbing with mud plus a new radically different prescription on my glasses and I simply misjudged the depth and wham down a rock face I went. Luckily I didn’t hit my head because I fell hard enough for a concussion I believe. I am okay but it freaked out hubby and child. It is an amazing place if it was closer I would go and write!

      • Oh crap! and EEk!

Glad to hear you’re okay, apart from what I gather are bruises, bumps and scrapes – and yeah, definitely sounds like you fell hard. Hope you eased yourself into a lovely warm bath after — and are feeling less jarred and jilted.

It looks like a most awesome place – definitely somewhere conducive to all kinds of creativity ….

how did Izzy enjoy it? was she as enamored and blown away as the adults? LOL …
