Dear friends of MLMM,

Welcome at a new episode of our weekly feature Heeding Haiku With … Maybe you remember that I told you in one of my earlier posts that we had a heatwave in The Netherlands. Well … that heatwave was tough not only for humans and animals, but also for nature. Bushes and trees are already in their autumn colors. Several trees are already in their winter clothing … bare branches. Yes the heatwave has done a lot of damage to nature, but finally we had rain and slowly nature starts to become green again …

That’s the reason why I have chosen the theme “vague perfume of autumn”, because that’s what we can smell here already. You may choose to create a haiku or a haibun. No rules except for the haibun. Your haibun can have a maximum of 150 words including the haiku.

Have fun!

When you have written your haiku, please TAG Heeding Haiku with Chèvrefeuille and Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie. Then add your link to the Mister Linky widget below.
