I’d never heard a “mondegreen” before, but it’s a very convenient word. There have been so many of them in my life. The earliest example I can remember is being certain as a child that the line was “Good King Wences last looked out…”

I like new words too. I have a mixed record when it comes to remembering them, but some stick around in my brain. 🙂
