Prophetess (Tale Weaver)

Alphonse Mucha. Prophetess, 1896. WikiArt.

Hello everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Here’s to another year of fantastic writing!

This is Jen filling in for Oloriel’s Tale Weaver’s Prompt.

For this week, consider the painting “Prophetess” by Alphonse Mucha.  Please use it to inspire your poetry and prose. You may want to consider the flowers in her hand (symbolic?), the contents and function of the large vessels, any importance attached to the little stream or to the buildings behind her, and so on.  Most importantly – what is the prophecy?

When you have written your piece, please tag it MindLoveMisery’s Menagerie and Tale Weaver’s Prompt, and add your link to Mister Linky.

Have Fun!
Jen
