Tomorrow is International Zebra Day, a day to bring awareness to zebras, their living conditions, and how the three remaining types in the wild can be protected. One type, Grèvy’s is endangered, its numbers rapidly lessening due to poaching for their pelts. More than 54% of its total population has been lost.
Such a shame their numbers are diminishing so fast. Here’s my effort today Lisa
Yes, it is a shame, especially just for their pelts. The mountain zebras aren’t in such bad shape, however they get hunted for meat. I can understand that, but not just pelts to sell.
