For this week’s Lucky Dip, I have reached into my mystery bag and pulled out a Septolet. The topic is up to you!
You may be thinking to yourself, What on earth is Septolet?
Luckily, Shadow Poetry has an explanation…
Septolet
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.
Example
Lion Woman
Prowling,
Lion woman
Seducer of men.Trembling heart
Naked, heat
Rising from skin,
