I am so very sorry for my absence and for the late post today. Time seems to be running out no matter how I organise my days. It’s been a busy month – between the NaNoWriMo and the job search with 5 interviews (waiting for answers) and sick kids…. – and it’s taken its toll. Some things had to give.
Time… the one currency that slips away and can’t be purchased back. The movie In Time with Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake is fascinating to me because of the use of time as the currency.
So today I’d like you tell me a tale about time; when you felt it slip through your fingers, when you realise how precious it was, or when you reminisced a time of happiness, sadness… Or a tale about time travelling, or time wrapping if you felt inclined to share a fiction work.
In summary
- Go where the prompt takes you and have fun!
- Prose, poetry, fable… please share your stories in whatever style works for you.
- Keep your stories/quests/tales below 1000 words
- Post it on your blog and tag it MLMM, Tale Weaver, Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie
- Be sure to leave a pingback or a link so we (I) can read your contribution
Glad to see you back and hope the family are all OK. Also fingers crossed for a job offer!
Here’s my effort this week, though it;s borrowed from an earlier post and updated.

I enjoyed that movie. Spoke tons to me. Hey, is there a ‘time limit’ (pun hehe) to these prompts? Can I still participate? Thanks.

I used this as one of the prompts to write a poem about a time that has passed.
