Sunday Writing Prompt, June 20/21 – Tickle my Fancy

Welcome back to, Sunday Writing Prompt!

“BRING ME SOMEONE TO MAKE ME LAUGH.”

One of my favorite childhood memories is my little sister and I watching the Faerie Tale Theatre films. My inspiration for today stemmed from, The Princess Who Never Laughed, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtkzumWTQkw

She was a princess, living a very serious and structured life. She pleaded to her father, the king, to bring her someone to make her laugh. I, myself, live a structured and sometimes serious life, raising two very young boys and working on top of that. I am itching for a snicker, a giggle, even a full-blown belly laugh! We ALL deal with stress, whether it be in your personal or professional life. Let’s set that aside for a few minutes, and tap into SILLINESS 🙂

I spent quite a bit of time trying to come up with a specific word or theme to serve as inspiration. Hard to nail down just one. But, after a lot of deliberation, I decided to close my eyes and point to wherever my brain went first. I was just as surprised as you!

Seems a bit obscure, but the challenge for this week is to make us laugh using the prompt – THE NANNY

I have NO idea what you’ll come up with, which makes me very excited 🙂
