This week the topic is Time For Change.
It is also announcing that I will be leaving the hosting of the Tale Weaver to someone new. After 320 weeks I feel it is time to hand over the running of the prompt.
If you are interested in taking the reins then please say so in the comments below.
Thank you for all the support you have shown to this prompt, its been a lot of fun for me.
When you have written your response to this week’s prompt please leave a link in the comments below.
Thanks for hosting this prompt for so long. It’s one of my favorites.

I would be interested to take over the reins. But was just wondering if there’s certain specific criteria you are looking for? 🙂

Hi Aseem, thanks for offering to take over the Tale Weaver.
There is no specific criteria other than producing prompts that will appeal to many and present a challenge to the writer. You would make the Tale Weaver your own.
If you want to take it on then let me know as I will have Yves, the administrator of the blog, remove me and put you in. Thanks for your interest and good luck.

That’s fantastic. Sure, I would love to take over. But for someone like me who hasn’t hosted any such prompts before, I would definitely be keen to understand if there was a certain process you followed for selecting the right prompts. Especially like not repeating the same prompt or selecting a prompt which would appeal to everyone or a good number of writers.

Hi Aseem,
Most prompts are a hit and miss. You put up what you feel is a good topic to write on. If you do this for a while you may find you are repeating topics but your audience will change as tou go along so it may not be an issue. I think I repeated a few topics but no one complained. Prompts are posted each Thursday, you’ll find the MLMM site is on Central Europe time so I always sheduled for 6am their time.
I’ll let you know when Yves has put you in as the host. As you have noticed I use the comments as a way of gathering links to responses. I found ‘Mr Linky’ difficult using the new WP process. Please feel free to ask me any questions as they arise for you.

Thanks Michael, that’s very helpful. Yeah I have seen some of the challenges using Mr Linky while others using comments. Sure, I will try to go ahead with collecting links through comments. Sure, as I go ahead will keep reaching out in case of any questions. Thanks for your support :).

Sorry to hear that, Michael. But, I’m sure you are making the best decision for yourself. I have really enjoyed your prompts and am sorry to see you go 😦 I would like to throw in my hat as a potential successor. It would be my inaugural run at this, so I completely understand if you are seeking someone more seasoned. I would like to branch out, and this seems like a great opportunity! As Aseem asked, do you have any specific criteria you request/prefer/require?

Hi Sara, thanks for your interest in the blog. As Aseem has offered first I have offered him the role. As I said to him there is no set criteria, you make the blog your own.
I am also relinquishing the Sunday Writing Prompt if you’d be interested in that role?
Like Tale Weaver it is what you make it. I took it on as a fill in for the previous host but she is still not available to take it back.
Let me know if you are interested in this role.
Thanks again for your interest.

I’m sure Aseem will do a great job! I’m looking forward to what he comes up with! I would love to take on Sunday Writing Prompt. Still sad to see your creative mind go, but I’m pleased to know you will still be participating, in some regard 🙂

Thanks Sara, I’ll inform Yves that you will be taking over the Sunday Writing Prompt.
I will do this Sunday as Yves has to instal you as the host.
If you look at My Sites on your blog when you see switch sites and it then says Mindlovemiserysmenagerie you know you are in and can go for your life. Any questions just ask.

Hi Michael, quick question. Is “My Sites” the same as “My Site”? I’ve been checking My Site assuming something to pop up once Yves has installed me as host. Not sure if will just appear or I have to click somewhere to find it? Still learning 🙂

My first draft is ready! But, I would like to do an additional post where I highlight a standout piece every Saturday. Am I allowed to just do it, or do I need to get permission?

Do it your way Sara. I think it’s important you establish yourself as different from those who went before you. See what happens 😀

Michael, I fully understand about a change needed. I have thought of changing what I write, or maybe starting another blog to write more Bible studies. I wish you well and know you will be successful, no matter what you do. Here is my entry for your last tale Weaver promot.
