I want you to try your hand at shape poetry! Don’t let the fish fool you, you can choose whatever shape you like. The shape of the poem should be relevant to the poem’s content in some way but it need not be literal.
I’ve done shape poems… but from my files to WP they do not translate (copy and paste) well.
I know one can fart with adding blank line space(s), and there might be other ways to add a shape poem to WP. But it’s just well rather fishy for me so I’ll pass.
I can do them in my documents, but I can’t transfer them. I don’t know how to copy and paste the ‘image’ of the words. Though I’ve seen other folks do that. WP needs to get on the ball for poets 😉
I still work out of the ‘old’ dashboard. I refuse to use the ‘New’ and supposedly ‘improved’ block editor which I have heard others say is not good at all for poets.
I have always disliked the extra line space WP attempts to put between the lines. Very irritating.
I just copy and paste the words in the html (not visual) to not get the extra line spaces. But images don’t transfer so I have to keep the prompt image open (or other net image) and then copy and paste it into the visual doc at WP.

I switch to it sometimes myself if I need to do certain things. Formatting is a real struggle haha

My contribution is a “sorta” shape-ly po.em. My computer skills and computer programs limit what sorts of text manipulation I can do.
