Dear friends of MLMM,
We are running towards the middle of autumn and we see all those wonderful colored leaves. All those colors look so festive, … and leaves are falling. Autumn is to me the most beautiful season, but also a season full of sadness and loss. Autumn … departure of nature, but also in a spiritual sense … autumn is departure.
The goal for this week’s episode of Heeding Haiku With … is to create a haiku or haibun (max. 250 words) themed “leaves are falling”. That can mean the actual falling of leaves or the spiritual meaning of autumn … departure, sadness and more …
I love to share a “Troiku” on this theme:
walking on the heath
in the light of the full moon
the scent of autumn
walking on the heath
feeling one with a Shepherd
in contact with God
in the light of the full moon
laying down in the meadow
the River of Heaven
the scent of autumn
feelings of departure and loneliness
tears in the puddle
