Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille, May 1st 2019 Labour Day

Dear friends of MLMM,

Welcome at a new episode of MLMM’s Heeding Haiku With … Today it’s Labour Day, May 1st, and I love to challenge you to create a haiku of haibun themed Labour Day. No need to use the theme itself, but in your haiku or haibun (max. 250 words, incl. the haiku) we can read clearly that the theme is Labour Day.

Have fun!

When you have written your haiku, please TAG Heeding Haiku with Chèvrefeuille and Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie. Then add your link to the Mister Linky widget below.

About Chèvrefeuille

I am a Dutch haiku poet. And I am the owner and host of the weblog "Carpe Diem, a daily haiku meme" on Blogger (or Blogspot). I am writing haiku since the late eighties and in 2005 I became an international known haiku poet and in 2011 ten of my haiku were included in a worldwide anthology "Spasms of Light". With that anthology I became an even more known haiku poet. In October 2012 I started my daily haiku meme.

Oh dear Lord, I would never attempt a haiku of haibun, I’ll leave such writing to my friend Björn. But I will enjoy reading those who do write one.

Have you written prose? Have you written a haiku? Just put the two together.
This go round I did more hiaku than prose, which was an American Sentence (all that means is that the sentence has 17 syllables too).
