What fascinates you this Easter weekend?
Use the theme “Fascinated” as an inspiration for any form of creative expression (including, but not limited to: short stories, poems, lyrics, artwork, and photography).
“Fascinated” by American band Ivy is an electronica song, using keyboards and a repetitive, simple chorus throughout its duration; Ivy’s take on the production was called “European”. The song received mixed to positive responses from music critics. It is appreciated for its “catchiness” and accompanying music video for the track featuring various scenes of the band performing the track in a “colorful” world with robotic dancers playing several instruments.
If you need a helping hand to get started, here are a few questions to reflect on…
Lyrics: “Fascinated” by Ivy
You’ve got me working so hard
You’ve got me down on my knees
You say you’re falling apart
Look what you’re doing to me
Oh oh oh oh oh
Nobody knows what you want
Nobody knows what you need
I barely get a response
Look what you’re doing to me
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’m fascinated
So fascinated
I’m fascinated, oh woo oh
A promise we made ourselves
To never care at all
And I know you’ll never tell
Tell me how to break down these walls
Oh oh oh oh oh
Tell me how to break down these walls
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’m fascinated
So fascinated
I’m fascinated, oh woo oh
Never turn up like we talked about
Never could tell how to read your mind
Never forgot what you’re all about
In this lifetime, baby, you will be mine
You will be mine
In this lifetime, you will be mine
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’m fascinated
So fascinated
I’m fascinated oh woo oh

I have scheduled until 17 May as I hadn’t heard anything about a replacement for Mandibelle. I can see Jim’s post in drafts but has not been published.

So this is your post? Gosh I thought it was Jims. Sorry for the confusion. I guess the best thing would be to write to Jim and decide how you guys want to arrange things. I admit I am confused as to how the Friday prompt is arranged. No one posted last week and I had thought last week was First Line. I would say that even if he is ready to go now leave your drafts because it is great to have backups for emergencies.

I don’t have Jim’s details…but happy to contact him. Dylan missed his prompt last week. It’s definitely Music Challenge today 😊
