Mindlovemisery's Menagerie

A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.

Saturday Mix – Lucky Dip, 20 October 2018

Welcome to the Saturday Mix, 20 October 2018 – Lucky Dip!

For this week’s Lucky Dip, I have reached into my mystery bag and pulled out a Tyburn. The topic is up to you!

You may be thinking to yourself, What on earth is a Tyburn?

Luckily, Shadow Poetry has an explanation…

Tyburn

A Tyburn is a six line poem consisting of 2, 2, 2, 2, 9, 9 syllables.

The first four lines rhyme and are all descriptive words. The last two lines rhyme and incorporate the first, second, third, and fourth lines as the 5th through 8th syllables.

Example of a Tyburn

Death
Blackest
Darkest
Coldest
Oldest
Burning in the Blackest, Darkest night
There in lives the Coldest, Oldest fright
