Dear friends of MLMM,
I hope you have had a wonderful week and that you have had a nice Easter celebration last Sunday. It is time again for a new Heeding Haiku With … This week I was on a short holiday somewhere in The Netherlands and I walked through a meadow. In the meadow I saw already blooming Daisies, Clover and more field flowers. So I thought “maybe this is a nice theme for MLMM’s Heeding Haiku With …
So this week’s theme is Meadow. You may choose if you are writing a haibun or a haiku that’s up to you. There are a few rules however this week.
Your haibun may have a maximum of 150 words (including the haiku) and your haiku has to follow the classical rules (syllables-count, seasonword, cutting word, deeper layer, description of a short moment and your first and third line have to be interchangeable).
Have fun!
When you have written your haiku, please TAG Heeding Haiku with Chèvrefeuille and Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie. Then add your link to the Mister Linky widget below.

It appears spring is on a delay cycle here…
All the rain though should help make the scene brighter when the sun finally does show up…

I added my post to the Linky. I am interested in constructive criticism. I tried to stick with classical haiku but I am not familiar with all the rules. Wondering if my haiku follows them all. Had fun though. 🙂
