Dear friends of MLMM,

Welcome at this new episode of Heeding Haiku With … I am living on the Northern hemisphere of our world so we are welcoming autumn this week. So I love to challenge you to create haiku on the theme “colors”. This theme you can interpret as pointing at autumn, but it can also be about colorful flowers, landscapes or painting. You can decide for yourself which direction you take.
Another challenge for this week’s episode is “try to create a haiku without the rules of haiku you know”. Make your haiku a “free-style” one or an “experimental” one. Just feel free to play with the haiku as you know it. Make it a modern one with an ancient touch or what ever.
This month I am trying to write “experimental” haiku. I will give you an example:

Just give it a try …

Have fun!

When you have written your haiku, please TAG Heeding Haiku with Chèvrefeuille and Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie. Then add your link to the Mister Linky widget below.

About Chèvrefeuille

I am a Dutch haiku poet. And I am the owner and host of the weblog "Carpe Diem, a daily haiku meme" on Blogger (or Blogspot). I am writing haiku since the late eighties and in 2005 I became an international known haiku poet and in 2011 ten of my haiku were included in a worldwide anthology "Spasms of Light". With that anthology I became an even more known haiku poet. In October 2012 I started my daily haiku meme.
