Wordle #172

Welcome to another wordle to start your week 🙂

This week, we have a guest post selection from one of our “on hiatus prompters” Lorraine. Please stop by her site and give her some MLMM appreciation.  🙂

So, onto the word play.

Although my effort may be humourous, I am fuly aware of the seriousness of dementia.

thanks Di 🙂 well, sometimes, we need to write about the humour, the tragic sadness that embraces dementia, because there are some extreme priceless moments, that if we can step back, and observe, would note, lending sympathy and compassion to it, to the nature of being human. And there is also the aspect of writing about a tough topic, with humour AND dignity. Which you’ve done 🙂

I’m with Pat on this. It was those humorous moments when being my mother’s care-giver that kept me going through the mostly dark days. I could laugh, rather than cry. I try to keep those memories; the others are simply painful.

it can be exceptionally difficult, frustrating, trying, heart-breaking – so, yes, even in the thick of it, there can be moments that are truly, when seen within the context, and without too, as comic and absurd. It’s just that we “think” we aren’t allowed to laugh, or should be more considerate, because it’s a more “acceptable” response. But if it’s not mocking or cruel, it can actually offer some of the tenderest memories of what is usually such a long and harrowing experience and period of time.

It’s been a bit over cast this-a-way. Enough for me to want to put off mowing for another day.

LOL – well any excuse? actually, it depends on how hot it is your way?
here, it’s been mostly overcast all day (but the sun is now blazing) and it’s hot – late summer fling with swirling skirts of humidity – feels like 30C …. so I wouldn’t want to be out, overexerting either – and if it can wait ’til tomorrow? why not 😀
