Mindlovemisery's Menagerie

A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.

Tale Weaver #129: Around The House 20.07.17

In Disney films, or nightmares, or psychedelic ramblings, inanimate objects take on lives of their own: talking teapots; rampaging brooms; breathing walls; philosophizing couches.

Weave a tale from the perspective of an object, say something around your house, or within the broader world.

What is life like as your alarm clock or kitchen chair?

How does the train feel about the commuting passengers? The elevator, it’s riders? A computer, it’s user?

You might imagine a dialogue between a real (or fictional character) person and that object if whimsy takes you in that direction.

I like this… reminds me of the singing teapots in Beauty and the Beast.

That’s the idea — the way things we think of as “ordinary” can become extraordinary! Like singing teapots.

great and fun prompt – kind like the couch thinking … oh here comes Uncle Doug and his farty bum! LOL – have to see if I can rally my troops and create something 😉

The door, which might have something to say, is always open. Hey, I haven’t responded to the prompt yet, and I wrote it, lol.

LOL – that’s okay, sometimes it’s just as much fun to sit back and read the entries 😉

Finally rallied myself and said “just sit and write something – anything” – so here’s anything. Ping you’re it.

Glad you decided to play along.
I feel I’ve spent some time in your kitchen with you; nothing flat nor one dimensional about your table.
It is truly a character come to life.
