Mindlovemisery's Menagerie

A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.

Writing Prompt #189 “Bonus”

Art: Livestock Steve Bartlett. Far Right Image Michael Cheval

Lorraine inspired this week’s collage by sharing this fabulous quote with me. Please be sure to visit her blog. The quote “Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible. I think it’s in my basement..let me go upstairs and check.” M.C. Escher

What is the underlying theme? What’s the story here? The overarching emotions? If you like you can read them like panels in a comic strip it’s up to you how your interpret them. Literal or abstract are both perfectly acceptable.

If you have some great quote suggestions leave them in the comments below and I will use them in a future collage! Alternately if you are a photographer and would like to share some of your photos for the purpose of the collages let me know. If you are interested in making a collage for the prompt, let me know in the comments below.

  1. I’m glad you liked the quote — Escher is one of my favourite artists.

He is amazing so I can see why XD

      • I never realized his puddle was in colour and in several verisons until last month so he continues to delight and surprise, as any good artist — writer, poet, painter, print maker, etc. should.

I liked the non-sense entangled up with Escher in this collage but took a while to find the bonus – thank you!
