A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.
I hope the cascades of red and yellow leaves and rain have been gentle to you, and you are enjoying Autumn!
As readers and writers, it is not uncommon to hear that a poem, story, book series, photography set or an artwork have been inspired into creation by a Dream the creator had.
Dreams are a sporadic yet persistent inspiration for all art, at least that is what I conclude from being on both sides of the creation fence.
This week, I would like you to tell me a dream. A dream that was specifically striking and has etched itself into your memory.
Alternatively, you can finally get to finishing or tackling a piece a dream inspired long ago.
You can, likewise, share an already existing piece that was inspired into creation by a dream.
I welcome all entries in all form, and am especially looking forward to the frightening ones. I think some good use should be put in nightmares, seeing they rob us of our piece of mind and rest, at night when we are most fragile.
When you post your piece, please link up/pingback, and tag your post with MindLoveMisery’s Menagerie, prompt, dreams, dreaming and similar.
Let’s open up the gifts of Mr. Sandman together!
