Dear friends of MLMM,
Welcome at a new episode of Heeding Haiku With … First I have to tell you something, maybe you already knew, but on July 28th Jane Reichhold, a renown haiku poetess, passed away, she was 79 years. Jane Reichhold was a dear friend of me and my mentor at my weblog Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. She also was a co-host of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. She will be missed, but also remembered as the Queen of Haiku, Tanka and Renga.
This week’s Heeding Haiku With … episode I love to challenge you to create a haiku inspired on a haiku by Jane Reichhold, with your inspired haiku you honor her and in a way this Heeding Haiku With will be a tribute to Jane Reichhold.
Here is the haiku by Jane Reichhold for your inspiration:
evening sea fog
descending into sun-dried grass
sweaty lovers

Have fun!
