Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille July 27th 2016 “one with nature”

silence

Dear friends of MLMM,

Welcome at a new episode of Heeding Haiku With … This week it’s about haiku and I love to challenge you to create a haiku while going out into nature. Become really “one with nature” and try to “catch” that moment in what I like to call “an impression in the form of a haiku”.

Imagine, if you cannot go outside, that you are outside wandering through the forest or along the beach. Try to use all your senses, listen, smell, see … the scene and than try to “catch” that in a haiku.

Let me give you an example of “an impression in the form of a haiku”:

sparkling sunlight
dances on the waves –
a seagull cries

Have fun!

About Chèvrefeuille

I am a Dutch haiku poet. And I am the owner and host of the weblog "Carpe Diem, a daily haiku meme" on Blogger (or Blogspot). I am writing haiku since the late eighties and in 2005 I became an international known haiku poet and in 2011 ten of my haiku were included in a worldwide anthology "Spasms of Light". With that anthology I became an even more known haiku poet. In October 2012 I started my daily haiku meme.
