Welcome to another tale weaver prompt.
This week, let’s explore: “All that glitters is not gold.”
The word/concept which I’m offering as point of inspiration?
DIAMOND
Your approach?
As you wish, but consider the rich history, the myths, the associations, the metaphors that surround this gemstone.
How will you choose to tell a story? What facets will you cut? Will the tale be rough or polished. The weight? Metaphor? Allegory? Fable? Blissful? Bloody?
It’s up to you – so explore, think on it, and write well – enjoy and have fun.
Guidelines? Please use/include the word somewhere in your tale, either in singular or plural form, writing in whatever genre/style/form you wish.
You have a week to participate; when done, please create a link or a ping back to MLMM, and include your response in the official linking system. Please include the tags MindLoveMisery’s Menagerie, Taleweaver Prompt and Diamond in your posts.
