Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille February 10th 2016

Dear friends of MLMM,

Welcome at a new episode of Heeding Haiku With … This week it’s haibun-time and I love to challenge you to write a haibun in which love plays the leading role. Love … the strongest power we know. Love is energy from the Universe and through love, not especially and exclusively for humans but also love for all and everything around us.

Next Sunday it’s Valentine’s Day and that brought me this idea for Heeding Haiku With … for this week: write a haibun about love. Your haibun may count a maximum of 500 words including the haiku.

Have fun …

About Chèvrefeuille

I am a Dutch haiku poet. And I am the owner and host of the weblog "Carpe Diem, a daily haiku meme" on Blogger (or Blogspot). I am writing haiku since the late eighties and in 2005 I became an international known haiku poet and in 2011 ten of my haiku were included in a worldwide anthology "Spasms of Light". With that anthology I became an even more known haiku poet. In October 2012 I started my daily haiku meme.

Mine is a love story from Greek mythology. A familiar story even to this day about how women tend to allow men to take ascendancy. They sacrifice everything for love.
