Been a busy morning at work….
Thank you for the new words. I am adding a bloodcrow to the 3rd book in the Curse Breaker Saga because by God, it fits perfectly. There was a bloodcrow sized hole in that narrative that I just didn’t see until now. Thank you!
lol I am pleased to hear it. I learn new words making the Wordles =)
How do you find the words? Do they leap out of the dictionary, hands raised, vying for your choice?
I find them all over the place. Bloodcrow comes from the Planescape Torment dictionary though I tweaked it slightly for use outside of the game context. Many of the words come from Dictionary.com word of the day promotion. I find words in books I am reading or even blogs (I am always reading). I look up words also in google stuff like words with beautiful meanings, words the English language should adopt what have you. I want to see people inventing words again and not just slang. I want to see people using awesome words so they don’t disappear
Yes I would like to see that too. New words Are like new toys 🙂
