Tale Weaver #40: Snow White Stop Kissing that Frog!*

a-tale-from-the-decameron-1916

Whether discovered as a child, with a child or otherwise, what is your favourite fairy tale? (Wikipedia’s List of Fairy Tales links are good memory-joggers.) Which character in that tale do you find the most interesting? Take on her/his personae, then weave a tale from that perspective. You can reweave the original fairy tale, or create a new one. Place your character in a familiar or unfamiliar setting.

As usual, only two “rules:” weave a tale and have fun in the doing so.

Oh, make that three: when you’ve woven your tale, please use tags: Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie and Tale Weaver. Add your name to our MMLM app. And, just in case those Tale Weaver gremlins are about, please link  to this post to create a ping-back. Guess that makes it five. . .

So am I more Rumpelstiltskinian or Rapunzelistic?

* Or, Prince Charming, Let Down Your Golden Hair? A few alternate titles did come to mind.

Excellent prompt, as I LOVED fairy tales, growing up. Not sure when I might get to this–my In-Basket is overflowing and heading out the door….
