A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.
As one matures situations that had, in youth, seemed so black and white become grey. The more we know the less certain we become. Throughout our lives we wrestle with issues of identity, morality, and priority. The spirited convictions of youth give way to an ambiguous quest for truth, for answers that are unknowable, and for questions that are essentially unanswerable. We look to religion, to addiction, to society, to entertainment, to relationships to fill a void within ourselves. For this week’s challenge I want us to get philosophical up in here. What do you know for sure? What did you know in youth but lose sight of maturity? What is something really important that you have learned through experience? If money were no object what would you be doing? Pick a big question and go from there.
Here is Alan Watts talk to get you thinking (it is not necessary to view this but he does give excellent talks)
