Thanks to everyone for this participation in last week’s prompt! Such a creative, fascinating and divergent responses – it was great and exciting, as well as moving reading! If you haven’t had the chance – maybe consider taking a few minutes to check out some of the other creative responses – so much to inspire – and it’s always wonderful when there is participating encouragement.
“Is three a charm?”
For a final lingering look at faces, let’s consider this portrait.
What fantasy, mythic, mysterious story lies in the eyes of this person? What do you see? What stirs your soul in flight? Enraptured, captured, a light in the darkness of midnight? Travels in foreign lands, battles fought in sand?
Let yourself linger on the edges – then leap – have faith – and most importantly – fun!
Share your thoughts – poems, prose, flash fiction, short stories etc. If it inspires a visual creation of your own – be it photograph or other visual medium – please, share.
Remember – if you use the image directly in your responses, please, credit the artist/photographer.
And don’t forget to leave a link to this prompt in your response, creating a pingback – as well as adding your entry to the official Linky.
I look forward to seeing your creativity in action!
Cheers ~ Pat

Pat: Amazing eye — haunting, exquisite beauty in a face marred by horrors.
“And, speaking of horrors, I am now compelled, to use rhyme in any story I tell. I am trying to get this disorder cured, so soon I can end a line with any word,” she confessed.

LOL – sorry, I’m not laughing at you – by any means – but you know, about a year or so ago – I started rhyming in uncontrollable fashion – all.of.the.time – much to my chagrin – and all I can offer is this – ride it out – because the more you fight it – the worse it gets …. infiltrating into all things non-writing too 😉
Thanks for responding to the prompt – I’m looking forward to the reading 🙂

No offense taken by your use of the LOL, it’s obviously a problem you understand too well.
“So ride it out I shall,” she confided. “At least some comic relief is provided.” 😉
