Good day dear friends,
Time flies when you have fun … It’s time again for our Fairy Tale prompt, but it wasn’t easy to come up with something. So I just have done what I should in such a situation …. I let my heart speak …
Last year (2014) I wrote an all new Mongolian, about a young guy with a strong believe in karma by helping others. In short this myth goes like this:
Our leading role, the young guy, helps a young girl to find her necklace back, the girl’s fiancé becomes angry on the boy He fights with the young guy whom only had helped the girl to find her necklace back. The girl’s fiancé (the angry boy) wins the fight and promises the boy that he will follow him everywhere on the steppes his whole life long and that he once will kill him.
The “haunted” boy finds shelter at the home (yurt) of a Mongolian shaman and becomes his apprentice. As the years go the “haunted” boy becomes a shaman too and as his master dies he becomes a strong, spiritual shaman who with his skills helps all the people on the steppes.
(If you would like to read the whole story than visit CDHK)
Imagine you’re the apprentice of a shaman and he learns you all magical and mysterious skills. Write a short story or poem in which you describe how your shaman teaches you all the things he knows.
When you’re done, TAG the post Fairy Tale Prompt and MindLoveMisery’s Menagerie, and add your link to the Mister Linky widget. If you can link to this post – allowing a Pingback – that would be helpful too. We don’t want to miss your post if the widget isn’t functioning properly.

Excellent Gigi!
I like this. Reminds me of ‘Grasshopper’, Master Po, and walking on rice paper without leaving footprints.
Great prompt! It will be interesting to see everyone’s responses! 🙂
