Tale Weaver Prompt #8: Great-Uncle Ludicis’ Attic

Great-Uncle Ludicis is the most eccentric member of your family. And the best tale weaver of the lot. Given his fantastical tales, while he rests, you decide to explore his attic.

Weave a tale about your exploration. And the one object you find that especially intrigues you: an antique; old photograph; document; map . . . The object may not be what it seems; have magical powers; invoke unknown memories . . .

It’s your Great-Uncle’s attic, your exploration, your intriguing object, your tale. Have fun.

Intriguing–is this poetry or prose, or either?

Hi Dusty, thanks for dropping by.
In general, tale weaver is looking at the tale as told through prose. We consider forms other than the traditional short story, such as dialogue, letter(s), email(s), diary entry(ies) and such.
I hope you find that helpful.

I’ve got something in the wings. A short verse for an unofficial A-Z and Ludicis falls for L which I think will be around Tues April 13th. 🙂

Thanks for the odd name… I did however find some ‘meaning’ to work with.

That sounds interesting. I will look forward to April 13th.
