Writing Prompt # 92 – Unsuitable Employment – February 1, 2015

The clown who could not laugh …

The counselor who would not listen …

The doctor who was never wrong (even with proof) …

Sometimes people are poorly suited to their jobs. Have you ever encountered an arrogant doctor who wouldn’t let you get a word in edgewise? A positively hostile person in customer service? A comedian that made you horrendously uncomfortable? How about you did you ever work in job for which you were ill-equipped or under stimulated? Sometimes working in the wrong profession can even be dangerous! I have bad eyesight and shaky hands and no intention whatsoever of becoming a surgeon. Take any direction you like with this tragic, comedic, venting.

You can also take a fictional route. Maybe you are a dragon herder with a fear of heights? Or a knight with a fear of blood?

About Bastet

I love to read...I like to write...I've travelled the world and seen the sites. I'm past my prime and feel so young, especially when near the young. I'm writing this blog, to remember, to think and to share...with the hopes that someone else will make a comment that will stimulate new thoughts and pathways. Actually, I'm a gabber, so the logical extension of gabbing is blogging! ;-)

How about those who run poetry blogs Christian church goers, espousing freedom of speech, equality etc and then alienating those who do not prostrate themselves in awe of them !
