About Bastet

I love to read...I like to write...I've travelled the world and seen the sites. I'm past my prime and feel so young, especially when near the young. I'm writing this blog, to remember, to think and to share...with the hopes that someone else will make a comment that will stimulate new thoughts and pathways. Actually, I'm a gabber, so the logical extension of gabbing is blogging! ;-)

The image is such that many different poems could be written. I chose one.

Shultz and Dooley were the spokes mugs for Utica Beer in the late 1950s — early ’60s. My dad’s sister lived in upstate NY. She arrived one Christmas the pair. No matter where we lived., Dad would put them on display. They survive, I hope, in the storage locker. Picture taken as my photo memory of my parents before I sold the house.
