A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.

Your Writing Fortune Teller (Fairy Tale Prompt)

This is Jen filling in for Anja’s Fairy Tale prompt.

HA’s prompt (“Create a Monster”) got me thinking.  There are so many WONDERFUL writing generators out there – why not explore them?  (Hey, never underestimate the power of a generator to coax a stubborn muse out of hiding.)

For this week, I would like you to visit the “Magic Guild Generator” at Seventh Sanctum:

Choose a guild name that appeals to you.
(Personally, I like the “Fairy Totem Posse”, don’t you?)

Then write a short story (or long poem, whichever you choose) with at least two of the following plot elements:

*  A character will prepare for a religious ceremony, but the action is misinterpreted.
*  A character becomes confused during the story.
*  The story must have a villain at the end.
*  The story must involve a crown in it.

How did I come up with these elements?  By using the Seventh Sanctum “Writing Challenge” generator, of course!

When you have written your post, please TAG it “Fairy Tale” and “MindLoveMisery’s Menagerie”.  Then add your link to the Mister Linky widget below.

Have fun!

So glad you liked it Michael — and — wow — I was SO impressed with this one. Left me wanting to know more about the guild and the rival fairy groups. Awesome stuff!

I hope you have a good weekend too. Looks like my weekend will start with some snow shoveling 🙂

Well its Saturday afternoon here and its about 33C outside with 36 predicted for tomorrow so its staying in out of the heat.
You guys must have strong arms and backs with all the snow shoveling you have to do. So enjoy your weekend too.

Uck! I can’t handle the heat at all. So while I’m tired of gray skies and shoveling snow — and dodging ice! — I’ll take it over 36 degree heat. Yes, stay in out of the heat — and enjoy something nice and cold and refreshing with those Fern Folk. 🙂

I plan to give them a good drink in the morning before they too have to swelter.

They’re going to need it! 🙂
