Great set of words! I used all but one — usually I have to push it to get to 10! Did it as a free write so no polish or editing (other than out right spelling mistakes). I’m a little rough around the edges!

I read your piece and it was quite a wonderful Gothic image … loved what you did and free writing probably helped to use most of the words .. bravo!

Thank you! I haven’t been participating in two free writing prompts of late, so I needed to just let my unconscious/subconscious mind try to settle down my conscious one. Guess I’m gothic thru and thru — past life perhaps?

One never knows .. but the words were pretty leading too ..most people came up with a poisoning or a ghost – including myself. 😉

I have been remiss in my reading of other stories. It seems I can either read contributions or write contributions, but rarely can do both. The words do hint at poisoning and ghostly presences. Hopefully, I be able to combine replies to comments (another one or the other task), and read your story.

I know what you mean … I’m always way behind on reading other peoples posts and sometimes never get to do that at all. There are just so many hours in a day … and one can’t always be at the computer …

This is off topic, but I forget how to get the snow gently fall across my blog. I know it’s a holiday thing with wp that was free, but I don’t know where to generate it.
