A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.
A single word can invoke a myriad of images in our minds. A single word can trigger the light which presents before us something we can feel or touch or just plain see. A haiku or a tanks depends on the words to bring out an image to astound us, to breathe life into us, to make us understand a real moment in time.
And thus, this week, I prompt you to undertake an activity whereby you pick three random words and craft a haiku or tanka highlighting them. You can randomly open a page or three pages of a Dictionary and have your three words or you can take the assistance of an online random word generator(search on Google, there are many). You can ask a friend to give you three words or you can ask us if you want, in the comments down below. Yves(MLM) or I would reach back to you with them as soon as we can.
On an unrelated note,
And may be this exercise would have you find a trouvaille,
What to do next?
1. Publish a post with your haiku or tanka if you have a blog. If you haven’t got a blog, you can share them in the comments down below. In case you have published a post, you can submit its link in the linking widget.
2. After you have made the post, take some of your time and visit the links of other participants. This is how we learn and improvise. Return again at the end of the week if you have made your post during the weekdays because there would be new links to visit, which would help us all to make connections and develop the feeling of community and togetherness in our adventure every week. Even if you can’t take out the time to visit all the links, then visit at least the link shared before or after you and offer your feedback and develop comradeship with that person.
