Tale Weaver’s Prompt #24 – Parabole

Today, I would like you to write a story that includes and revolves around a parabole.

Your metaphorical comparation should include two different sides, opinion and so on, minimum, going for more is also an option.

Hope you have fun!

    I wasn’t sure what a parabole was, so I got out my dictionary, and there wasn’t just parabole, but versions of it. So, what is a parabole? Is it similar to a parable?
    It would be very helpful for a definition. Thanks!

      It means a metaphorical comparison aka it lets you use mythical details to show a comparisson, as opposed to just saying a fire can burn a tree down, but it can also cook you a meal 🙂
      Hope it helps!

        If one searches out parabole – one discovers it’s the French translation for the English “parable”; it stems from the Greek ‘parabole’ meaning comparison;

        Just to clarify a bit 🙂
