A dose of fetish. Good friends. An incomparable muse.
A swift blow of wind leaves us breathless sometimes, because it touches us in ways, outside and within, like the embrace of the most happiest event of our lives.
If I close my eyes and try to remember the events which gave me true happiness, I see myself in a dark night, when the clouds roared through the sky and few drops fell and scattered on my cheeks. How wonderful such natural, yet inconsequential things can be for us!
As I see these days tumbling down the vessel of life, I am learning to treasure some of the smallest of events, when peace prevailed within me. I think, that is as far as I could adopt the notions of spirituality. Spirituality, for me, is about realizing the spirit that is imbued in us throughout this life, that which stays alive even when the heart and hope dies. It is about touching that spirit, feeling it and being one with it.
I use a lot of my personal definitions to emphasize a point. That must mostly be against what you think about it. So, please pardon me if I open up and be a tad bit too frank and personal in my thoughts.
This week, I would like you to discover the world that resides within us, of thoughts, of memories, and of happiness and gloom. Feel the blow of the wind and forget the physical realm and realize, what spirituality means to you. Embrace the small events that makes this life worth living. The topics are varied but the motive remains the same: to look within and being one with your spirit.
What to do next?
1. Publish a post with your haiku or tanka if you have a blog. If you haven’t got a blog, you can share them in the comments down below. In case you have published a post, you can submit its link in the linking widget.
2. After you have made the post, take some of your time and visit the links of other participants. This is how we learn and improvise. Return again at the end of the week if you have made your post during the weekdays because there would be new links to visit, which would help us all to make connections and develop the feeling of community and togetherness in our adventure every week. Even if you can’t take out the time to visit all the links, then visit at least the link shared before or after you and offer your feedback and develop comradeship with that person.
