Heeding Haiku With HA: To the Food We Consume

How often do we look at our plates and give consideration to every food item adorned on it for us? In the fast pace of daily life, we often forget to cherish what we gulp down our mouths into the stomach, that which is responsible for the energy to keep us going, allowing us to do all that we do.

But sometimes, there is that something.. something of our liking that leaves a fleeting gleam in our eyes.

This week, I would like you to think about that something, that food item or preparation that tingles your tongue buds and gives you a sort of happiness and write…

Oh now you would think that I am gone awry and that is why I am suggesting such a peculiar topic for writing haiku or tanka. But why not? Let us give the essence of life to haiku and talk about food in our words.

I hope that this prompt works out for you as an inspiration.

After you have written a haiku or tanka, please link back to this post because I am not able to include the linking widget as of now. I would approve them as soon as possible. And do not forget to visit websites of other participants and enjoy their creations.

Happy Writing!
