Fairytale Prompt #4

I need to begin and apologize that I have not been able to read many of the responses to the prompt in the last two weeks.  I have been taking my daughter to several doctor appointments and preparing for my own surgery. This weekend I plan on catching up and getting back on track.

On to this weeks prompt……

If I am not writing, then I am drawing and one of my favorite artists is Aubrey Beardsley. So today I am going to use one of his pieces of work as inspiration. This one is called Salome With the Head of John the Baptist.

Doesn’t look like I pinged-back: https://phylor.wordpress.com/2014/04/18/fairy-tale-prompt-4-illegality/ is my tongue in cheek response. The image was great; I can see why you like the work of the artist and this one seemed right out of the Brother’s Grimm!
I hope your daughter is ok, and your preparation for and surgery goes well. Thinking of you.

Now that we have a right diagnosis on my daughter, she is doing very well. As for my surgery….I want it over with but would like to skip that pain stuff 🙂

It’s always nice to skip the pain stuff — I know!
Glad your daughter now has the right diagnosis and is doing well.
Will be thinking of you, and wishing/hoping the pain stuff isn’t too bad.
