Bastet’s Shadorma Photo Prompt # 3

Hello World!

I really want to thank you all for the fantastic shadorma you all showered on me this week!  Here are the folks who were inspired by the photo, a rock garden from Arco Castle in Italy:

A walk at dawn – a lack and white photo taken from an 19th century veranda…

A shadorma is composed of six non-rhyming lines (sestina or sextet) and the syllable pattern is 3-5-3-3-7-5.  It can have as many stanzas as you like, just as long as each stanza follows the syllable pattern mentioned above (I’ve written an example shadorma and numbered my syllables to show how it’s done for you newbies to poetry).

Just take a look at the photo…and let it speak to your muse…I’m curious to read your shadorma!

Once you’ve written your post tag:  Shadorma and Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie, then put your info onto the Mr. Linky app!  If you ping me back, I’ll be able to read your post asap…That’s all there is to it!

See you next week and have fun!  Bastet!
